USA: Miami Seaquarium Attracts Visitos with New Penguin Encounter
Starting on December 19th, 2016 visitors to Miami Seaquarium can try out the new “Penguin Encounter” experience as part of the park’s “Penguin Holidays”. In addition to an interactive educational segment, the experience includes a penguin feeding and an individual ‘meet and greet’ of approx. 15-20 minutes with the little tuxedo-clad animals. The park’s training staff provides participants with detailed information on the endangered African penguin, endemic in Africa’s south-west coast. The animals live in the park’s approx. 75 square meter large “Penguin Isle” since early 2016. (eap)
