USA: Modesto Boomers Announces New Indoor Attraction

Visitors to California's Modesto Boomers, which has been part of Apex Parks Group since 2014 (cf. EAP, issue 6/2014), can look forward to a new indoor attraction: As the Family Entertainment Center recently announced, this spring will see the opening of the new bumper car attraction "Spin Zone" delivered by Amusement Products. The Spin Zone arena will accommodate up to eight riders during each five-minute ride session. The modern, round bumper cars will spin and twirl when bumped, thus creating a wild ride and unique experience for guests. Apart from the introduction of this new attraction, Modesto Boomers will undergo a complete park renovation that includes the addition of a sports bar style seating area featuring ten flat screen TVs by spring.

The renovation works at Modesto Boomers are part of Apex Parks Group’s plans to improve guest experience at all of their park properties. “This is the biggest renovation ever at the Modesto Boomers. These updates are our promise for a richer, more fun experience at the facility,” Gregg Borman, Senior Vice President of Operations for Apex, states. (eap)
