USA: New “Infinity Falls” River Rapids Ride at SeaWorld Orlando Opens This Thursday
This upcoming Thursday (October 4th) will see the opening of SeaWorld Orlando’s new river rapids attraction, dubbed “Infinity Falls” (c.f. EAP, 1/18 & EAP news from April 19th, 2017). The ride, which was supplied by Intamin and reaches over 20 meters in height, is equipped with special features such as a vertical lift and a twelve meter high drop – a new record for attractions of this kind. Up to eight persons can sit in the circular rafts, starting on a journey through a lush rainforest landscape. Dynamic drops and turns during the ride guarantee the splash factor.
“Infinity Falls” is the centerpiece attraction of a newly designed park area, now resembling a basecamp for explorers and scientists. It features the theming of freshwater ecosystems on earth. (eap)
