USA: O&O Announces Strategic Partnership with Vertuoso

Oskoui & Oskoui (O&O), a Los Angeles/CA-based digital content media agency, has developed a mobile app, which is especially designed for museums, art galleries, theme parks and other leisure destinations: “Gretel” is aimed at providing visitors an enhanced digital experience – either by using a personal smartphone or a rental device provided by the respective site. The app features a modular design so it can be programmed according to the customer’s requirements. In addition, "Gretel" is compatible with augmented reality applications, Wi-Fi and “Beacon” technology.

Recently, O&O announced a strategic partnership with Vertuoso, another Los Angeles-based company specialized in “vertical storytelling” with further offices in New York City and Santa Fe/NM. According to the agreement, Vertuoso is the exclusive content provider for O&O's "Gretel" mobile app – in the future, the content of the app is to be presented in vertical format for an improved user-friendliness.

“Studies have shown that the public holds their phones vertically 94 percent of the time. Vertical viewing has increased 600 percent over the last five years, vertical videos have nine times higher completion rates, and users have come to expect and want vertical content now.
