USA: OWA Opens New eSports Center in Alabama
Operated by the Poarch Band of Creek Indians, the leisure and entertainment complex OWA in Foley, Alabama will open its new eSports Center “Clash“ on 17 August this year. The modern gaming complex is a high-end video gaming facility located within Downtown OWA – an entertainment, dining, and shopping area. Inside the center, visitors will be able to find 26 computers, equipped with Corsair gaming chairs, headsets and other features for a fun video gaming experience. “Clash“ will provide over 50 games on “Xbox“ (Microsoft) or “Nintendo Switch“ in its “living room“ setup.
“Clash eSports Center has allowed OWA to tap into the ever-growing eSports space,“ said Kristin Hellmich (Director of Marceting/PR). “This addition will continue to make OWA the area’s go-to entertainment destination. With so many games and affordable pricing, it’s a fun and safe place for kids, teens and adults to have fun.“
OWA takes up the theme of a small Southern town that evolves through time in distinct districts, such as Downtowm OWA and The Park at OWA, its related amusement park. (eap)
