USA: Personnel Changes in Disney’s Management
According to latest media reports, Disney has implemented personnel changes in the board of several business divisions. After it became public that Catherine Powell – who was president of the “Disney Parks Western Region” division since March 2018 (cf. EAP News f. 14 Dec 2018) – had left the company and her position would be eliminated, Disney will see several personnel changes on management level. Rebecca Campbell, who was president of the segment direct-to-consumer in Europe, Middle East and Africa for the company, will take over Josh D’Amaro‘s position as president of Disneyland Resorts. D’Amaro will be moved to president of Walt Disney World Resort in Florida. Both will start their new positions in November.
Michael Colglazier, who leads Disney parks and resorts in Asia, will handle the affairs of Disneyland Paris from now on. Also, George Kalogridis, who led the World Disney World Resort until 2013, will take over the position as president of the Disney segment development and enrichment and will also lead the Disney Institute.
