USA: Production Company Monlove Developes “Peanuts“ Entertainment Experience for the Kennedy Space Center

A new entertainment experience awaits visitors to the Kennedy Space Center Visitor Complex in spring 2023.  Since 1967, the Kennedy Space Center (Web-News vom 15.06.2022 verlinken) on Merrit Island, Florida, has been teaching visitors from around the world about the history of the U.S. space program. Beginning next year, this will be translated into an educational entertainment show featuring the pop-culture-famous „Peanuts“ characters. The show, called “All Systems Are Go“, is being produced by Montreal-based production company Monlove. Responsible for the project are CEO and founder Ella Louise Allaire and Chief Content Officer Martin Lord Ferguson, who together have already implemented several projects for well-known clients such as Warner Bros, 20th Century Fox, Cirque de Soleil and Disney. For the Space Visitor Center, they are now optimizing the venue’s “Universe Theater“. Dolby Atmos sound, more than 20 integrated laser projectors and an electronic mix of orchestral, contemporary and jazz music are designed to give visitors a unique 20-minute experience of NASA’s history. Peanuts characters such as „Snoopy“ or „Charlie Brown“ are used in the form of four-to-five-foot (1.20- to 1.50-meter) tall puppets.

“Peanuts has had a long association with space, starting with NASA’s Apollo 10 mission in the 1960’s to Snoopy being the zero-gravity indicator on the upcoming launch of Artemis I. This joint effort between Monlove, Kennedy Space Center Visitor Complex and Peanuts Worldwide is a fantastic avenue for fans to learn about Peanuts and NASA’s storied history as well as experience Charles Schulz’s iconic characters in a new and exciting way“, states Craig Herman, Vice President, Global Brand Experiences & Publishing, Peanuts Worldwide.
