USA: TÜV SÜD America Opend New Hub in Tampa

To fit the needs of especially the Orlando-based “amusement park Mecca“, TÜV SÜD America, a subsidiary of Munich-based TÜV SÜD AG, opened a new hub located in Tampa, Florida to serve the testing, inspection, certification, and training needs of the amusement ride and theme park industry throughout the USA but also in Canada and Mexico.

For the department of Ausement Rides, TÜV SÜD America appointed former Walt Disney Imagineering ride engineer Bob Vignec as new Director. “We are delighted to welcome Bob. His background and experience will make him a great asset to TÜV SÜD America as it offers one-stop technical services for amusement rides and theme parks,” commented Paul Wierl, Vice President of Industry Service at TÜV SÜD America.
