USA: Themed Entertainment Association Reschedules Thea Awards Gala to July

Since 1994, the Themed Entertainment Association (TEA) has been presenting the annual “Thea Awards“, honouring companies and personalities of the international leisure industry. This year’s “Thea Awards Gala“ event with the subsequent two-day “TEA Summit“ (original date April 16th to 18th) had to be rescheduled due to the international restrictions to prevent the spread of the corona virus. The event, which will take place at Disneyland Resort (Anaheim, California), is now scheduled for July 9th to 11th 2020.

“We look forward to a time of recovery in the near future. Postponing the TEA Summit and Thea Awards Gala will help ensure that it remains a great and grand occasion to learn, network and celebrate – to honor our best and brightest – and that our global industry can attend in full force,“ communicates the association.

The “26th Thea Award“ winners were already announced during IAAPA Expo 2019 in Orlando this past November (cf. EAP News of 20 Nov 2019). (eap)
