USA: accesso® Provides One World Observatory with Ticketing Solution

accesso® Technology Group plc, provider of technology solutions to leisure, entertainment and cultural markets, recently completed the deployment of the accesso Passport® ticketing suite at One World Observatory, the three-story observation deck at the top of New York’s One World Trade Center. The ticketing solution helps One World Observatory to provide visitors with access to advance ticket sales through their computers, tablets and mobile devices. Additionally, onsite sales, including traditional point-of-sale and mobile point-of-sale, are supported. The installation of the ticketing suite is part of accesso®’s three-year agreement with Legends Hospitality, operator of the observation deck. “Sophisticated operators like Legends Hospitality demand flexible solutions that keep pace with ever changing consumer buying behaviors,” says Steve Brown, accesso® Chief Operating Officer for North America and Europe. One World Observatory opened in late May this year and offers panoramic views of New York City. Furthermore, it features, amongst others, dining options, a gift shop, special events and a theatre providing visitors with further information about the observation deck. (eap)
