USA/DOM: Falcon’s Creative Group and Katmandu Group Joining Forces for New Branded Visitor Attractions
The Orlando-based Falcon’s Creative Group and Katmandu Group, which operates Parks in Mallorca and Tenerife and which is also headquartered in Orlando, are joining forces to create a new concept for branded visitor attractions, which will be first implemented in Punta Cana, Dominican Republic. New attractions are supposed to be produced in cooperation with Falcon’s Licensing, a business division of Falcon’s Creative Group, for the new entertainment venue. Katmandu, Punta Cana, which is set to open in late 2020, will feature “Quest for the Multiverse“ as the new signature ride, a Suspended Theater® flying theater and a dark ride based on “The Legend of Katmandu“.
“Katmandu Group is extremely excited about our relationship with Falcon’s Creative Group and proud to be working with such a talented group of individuals,“ said Dan Jensen, President of Katmandu Group. In addition to the above-mentioned attractions, more guest experiences are planned for the tourist attraction like “Expedition Golf“, a 36 hole golf course with themed holes incorporated in the Nepalese mountains, and a multi-story ninja playground with several climbing obstacles.
