USA/Italien: Zamperla Presents New Family Launch Coaster & Zetta Swing

After several new products that the Italian manufacturing company Zamperla had promoted during its “Z-Funweeks“, the team today introduces two more rides into the market: the “Family Launch Coaster“ and the pendulum attraction “Zetta Swing“.

The Family Launch Coaster is conceptualized to impress riders with multiple launches, a dead-end element and reverse sections. The trains, which the manufacturer offers for both a capacity of 20 or 14 passengers and in different designs (including truck, sidecar or moto), accelerate to around 72 km/h during the ride. Passengers must be at least 105 centimetres tall, accompanied by an adult (120 centimetres unaccompanied). With Zetta Swing, the company says it is launching “the largest pendulum ride in the world“ – at the highest point, which is reached within six swings, the gondola gets up to a height of 60 metres. With a top speed of up to 90 km/h, an adrenaline rush is guaranteed during the ride. Zetta Swing is available with a capacity of 16 or 32 persons.

Zamperla also announced that Adventurland Park, located in Altoona, Iowa (USA), will open no less than eight new family-friendly attractions from the manufacturer in the coming 2022 season, all of which are primarily designed for small children. (eap)
