Unique: Europabad Karlsruhe Involves Visitors to Help Decide about the Design of New Waterslide

Anyone who has always dreamed about designing a waterslide according to his or her preferences can currently take part in the designing process of a new slide at Germany’s Europabad Karlsruhe. “Green Viper” is the name of the new slide for the design of which waterslide enthusiasts and guests of the facility can actively involve themselves at a website created for this purpose (www.green-viper-erlebnisrutsche.de). While the basic stretch of the slide is already fixed, guests can vote for the different features, the design and effects of the slide via the Internet. The slide was divided up into seven different segments for which between up to three effect and design alternatives can be chosen. An online forum provides participants with the possibility to discuss the project and the different slide segments. The slide will be supplied by Switzerland’s Klarercompany. (eap)
