Update on the Covid-19 Impact on Events and Trade Shows

Due to the globally increasing spread of the coronavirus (Covid-19) and rising numbers of disease cases, major events are being cancelled or postponed. This also affects the following trade shows and tours, among others:

Internorga Hamburg (original date: 13-17 Mar 2020): The international trade fair for food-service and hospitality, hosted by Hamburg Messe & Congress, is being postponed to 20-24 June 2020.

Dubai Entertainment, Amusement & Leisure Show (DEAL, original date: 23-25 Mar 2020): DEAL 2020 is being postponed to 15-17 June 2020. The trade show takes place at the Dubai World Trade Center.

IATP EU 2020 Tour (original date: 20-24 Apr 2020): This year’s European networking & education tour planned by the International Association of Trampoline Parks will not take place. The association’s next event is the “Annual Conference & Trade Show” from 20-22 Sept 2020 in Las Vegas, Nevada.

IAAPA Expo Asia Macao (original date: 8-11 June 2020): The International Association of Amusement Parks and Attractions (IAAPA) just announced its decision to postpone this year’s IAAPA Expo Asia in Macao, China to June 2021. The next trade shows organized by the global industry association are IAAPA Expo Europe in London, England from 22-24 Sept and IAAPA Expo in Orlando, Florida from 17-20 Nov 2020. (eap)
