Visitor Record at EAS 2012 in Berlin
This year’s Euro Attractions Show (EAS), Europe’s largest trade show for the attractions industry, welcomed more than 8,100 visitors in Berlin (official figures have not been communicated yet) – a new visitor record! More than 350 exhibitors from the leisure and attractions industry presented their newest products and services from 9 to 11 October 2012 in the halls of Messe Berlin. An interesting seminar and conference programme gave attendees the possibility to gain information about industry-related topics like marketing & social media or holiday events. For the first time in the European trade show’s history, the exhibition was opened on the first day by IAAPA chairman Roland Mack during an opening ceremony. The ceremony was similar to the kickoff events known from IAAPA show expos in the US. EAP magazine issue 6/2012 will feature a photo report from the EAS in Berlin. More about Europe’s largest conference and trade show for the attractions industry can be read in magazine issue 1/2013. (eap)
