WAZA Offers Comprehensive Program during WAZA Virtual Annual Conference
The 75th edition of the World Association of Zoos and Aquariums‘ (WAZA) “Annual Conference“ will be organized as a virtual conference this year, due to the worldwide Covid-19 pandemic. From October 12th to 15th, WAZA will present a comprehensive conference program which will be thematically dedicated to the corona crisis, animal welfare, conservation and sustainability.
Keynote presentations will be hold by Sahil Merchant (Partner of McKinsey & Company), James Gomme (Director of Sustainable Development Goals at the World Business Council for Sustainable Development), Elizabeth Maruma Mrema (Executive Secretary of the Convention on Biological Diversity) and Ivonne Higuero (Secretary-General of Convention on International Trade in Endangered Species of Wild Fauna and Flora).
