WOW Museum Opens in the Heart of Munich
(eap) A museum that challenges the limits of human perception is opening on Saturday in the heart of Munich (near Isartor). The talk is about the WOW Museum, which comprises various installations on over 500 square meters and two levels that challenge the visitors’ perception and senses. The museum offers a total of 16 experience rooms in which guests are whisked away into a new dimension of perception through illusionary works of art. The Wow Museum not only exhibits art, but also aims to encourage visitors to interact with the pieces and exchange their ideas about it.
In addition, three so-called “WOW-Rallyes” are offered, in which guests can embark on a journey of discovery through the museum and solve puzzles and tasks. Also, there is an interactive visitor tour entitled “Willow’s World”, during which visitors accompany the virtual museum guide “Willow” through the world of illusions. Furthermore, the Wow Museum is cooperating with LEGO© so that museum guests can look forward to an exhibition of the well-known Lego bricks. After the tour of the museum, visitors can enjoy a drink at the “Curtain Call Bar”.
In addition to the museum in Munich, there has been a WOW Museum in Zurich since 2020. The owners and founders of the Wow Museums are Vanessa and Matthias Kammermann, who wanted to create a place that combines fun, learning, culture and immersive art. ■
