Water World to Open New Kids Zone with Eight Slides

(eap) At Spain’s Water World in Lloret de Mar (Catalonia) young visitors can look forward to new slide fun this summer. On May 18, the water park will open the new kids’ area “Tornado’s Land”, where eight different kids water slides from ProSlide cover a ground space of around 8,000 square meters. These include the world’s first “Kids Double TornadoWave” and EMEA’s first “FlyingSAUCER8” – both mini versions of the larger ProSlide attraction types.
“Next year will mark the 40th anniversary of Water World after my father Josep Maria and his business partner, Mr. Josep Tarré started this business, and just a few years less than my passion for this industry. That is why I am so happy about this project […] Personally, I thank Aaron Wilson and his team to make all this possible […] it is not only the professional approach of ProSlide, but also the feeling of experience, knowledge and learning that fascinates us so much about this sector,” announces Joan Cama, Co-Owner of Water World.

The layout was purposefully designed to provide natural separation, with rides for the younger guests to the older ones – shown from left to right in the renderings”, said Aaron Wilson, ProSlide VP, Business Development – Europe & Latin America.
Next summer, the water park will be extended to include the “product father” of the Kids TornadoWave, a “Double TornadoWAVE 60”. ■
