Wahoo Waterworld: One of Indonesia’s Newest Waterparks

(eap) Recently, a completely new water park, Wahoo Waterworld, opened on the Indonesian island of Java (in the city of Bandung, Padalarang district). The park’s main attractions include several large water slides from the WhiteWater West portfolio, including the “Abyss” funnel slide – the first installation of this model in Indonesia –, a “Boomerango” and a Family Raft Ride slide, as well as a RocketBLAST water coaster with several uphill sections from ProSlide. The latter is is approved for visitors with a minimum body height of 1.20 meters and provides the feeling of a bobsled race. The manufacturer implemented a similar version of this model last year at Quassy Amusement and Waterpark in Connecticut, US.

For the younger guests, the water park has various offerings, including several water slides from WhiteWater West in children’s versions as well as a water play area called “Aqua Zone”, which is equipped with numerous interactive features from Empex Watertoys. The 650-square-meter area includes, among other elements, an Aquadek climb and slide structure from the supplier. The highlight here is the large Aquadunker tipping bucket. ■
