monte mare Group Supports School Building Projects in Ruanda

Since 2012, monte mare Group has been supporting charity projects of the Fly & Help Foundation (founded by Reiner Meutsch) in order to facilitate education for children worldwide. Recently, a new school building has been inaugurated in Nkelima, located in the mountains of Ruanda/Africa. Thanks to donations of monte mare group, there are two new class rooms, a new office with an adjoining building (corresponding to the “Child-Friendly-School” standards of the United Nations) and toilet facilities, equipped for the disabled. All new buildings feature a solid foundation and are made of stone. Furthermore, two cisterns with a volume of some ten cubic meters each ensure the primary care of water.

Herbert Doll, founder of monte mare, is delighted about the school opening: “I’m excited that we could help facilitate education for children in Ruanda again, ensuring a better future for many […],” said Doll. According to monte mare, financing for another school in the African country of Togo is already in the planning, with the opening scheduled for 2019.

Besides donation boxes put up in all monte mare bathing complexes, the company donates 0.5 Euro per sold bottle of monte mare mineral water. (eap)
