Austria/USA: AV Stumpfl and Smart Monkeys Announce Technological Partnership
Austrian company AV Stumpfl and Orlando, USA-based Smart Monkeys announced their technology collaboration partnership ahead of the upcoming InfoComm trade show in Orlando, with the aim of integrating Smart Monkeys’ “ISAAC” Application Programming Interface (API) into AV Stumpfl’s “PIXERA” media server platform. The API integrated in the new “PIXERA control” show control system is intended to simplify the control of complex show scenarios; the new workspace created by the interface will provide a unified front-end programming and client interface for professional AV installations. In addition, PIXERA control will allow users to seamlessly host new functionalities within the server and control all aspects of an extended project environment. Setups can be freely configured and allow the creation of connections between numerous media technologies.
Smart Monkeys co-owner Stephan Villet explains: “There is no doubt that PIXERA is shaking up the media server market with its truly modern UI and incredibly powerful engine. PIXERA control is a continuation of that product development mindset, and we can’t wait to see all the amazing things that users will do with it. Our goal with ISAAC is to provide a robust, high performing and reliable integrated system that serves as a perfect hosting platform for specialized solutions such as PIXERA control. We are looking forward to extend our technical collaboration further and make easier for our mutual clients to leverage the combination of our two products.”
“Smart Monkeys are internationally known for their great expertise in the field of show control solutions and their ceaseless quest for real innovation. We are extremely happy that the team behind the acclaimed ISAAC Workspace recognised the potential of PIXERA control early on. This collaboration lays the foundation for a wide range of solutions throughout the fixed install industry, from large-scale public shared media experiences to multi-attraction theme park control systems and beyond,“ comments Harry Gladow, executive director of the PIXERA business division.
