43rd ESU Showmen Congress in Edinburgh

(eap) The 43^rd Congress of the European Showmen’s Union (ESU) will take place in Edinburgh, the capital of Scotland, from 21 to 23 January 2025. The international industry meeting, which takes place every two years, will be accompanied by a varied supporting programme. Current topics such as safeguarding the industry and maintaining and promoting European folk festivals will be discussed in plenary sessions and expert talks at the Radisson Blue Edinburgh conference hotel.

In addition to the plenary session on 22 January, the three-day programme includes the delegates’ participation in a debate in the Scottish Parliament on the subject of the “European Showmen’s Union”, followed by a reception in the parliament lobby, a festive evening event and a joint visit to Edinburgh’s most famous sights and attractions. ■
