Abu Dhabi/UAE: Ferrari World’s “Flying Aces“ Open to Guests

As of now, visitors to Ferrari World Abu Dhabi have the possibility to dare a thrilling ride on the theme park’s new “Flying Aces” roller coaster (cf. EAP News from November 4, 2015). In the course of an exclusive launch event with more than 100 guests attending, the coaster was officially opened yesterday.

According to the park, the Intamin coaster does not just feature the world’s tallest looping (a 52 meters high non-inverted loop) but also the steepest and fastest cable lift incline at 51 degrees. Further elements during the 135 seconds journey include rapid twists and turns as well as a total of ten airtime moments. Along its 1,500-meter track, the bi-plane themed coaster vehicle reaches speeds of up to 120 kilometers per hour. “This coaster will surprise guests with never-before experienced thrills and it further cements Ferrari World Abu Dhabi’s reputation as a pioneer in the region’s leisure and entertainment industry,” Jesse Vargas, General Manager at Ferrari World Abu Dhabi, says.
