Application Phase for the Spa Manager Awards 2025 Running

(eap) The German Wellness Association invites spa professionals to the tenth edition of the “Spa Manager Awards”, which honour spa managers from all German-speaking regions (Germany, Austria, South Tyrol and Switzerland). Applications to take part in the competition have recently opened and will run until 31 October 2024. All those who manage a spa, spa department or wellness area are eligible to take part. For the first time, spa professionals will be honoured in four categories: “Resort Spa” (spa facilities that are part of a hotel or holiday resort with a guest focus on wellness and spa), “Hotel Spa” (spas in a hotel that is not predominantly booked by spa and wellness guests), “Day Spa / City Spa” (spa without a hotel connection) as well as “Thermen Spa / Bäder Spa” (wellness / spa area located in a thermal spa or bathing establishment).
A jury consisting of the three industry professionals Marlis Minkenberg (consulting entrepreneur), Keven Prünster (Deputy Hotel Director & SPA Manager at the A-Rosa Kitzbühel) and Joram Schirmaier (Managing Director of MYSSAGE) will decide between the participants who will be nominated for the awards, who will qualify for the final of the top three in each category and who will ultimately win. The announcement and presentation of the awards will take place on 13 April 2025 at the FIBO health, fitness and wellness trade fair in Cologne. ■
