Recently, the thermal spa was spruced up for the anniversary as part of a two-week refurbishment phase. Both technical and visual modernization work was carried out in the spa area, sauna and adventure pool. The focus was primarily on renewing the ageing technology. For example, the chlorine gas pipes were replaced by the firm Aquatec and the filter material was changed by Aquila. While these new features are likely to have remained undiscovered by visitors, guests are likely to have noticed the visual improvements in the thermal bath...
The pools were thoroughly cleaned and refurbished, the underwater spotlights were replaced with new modules from Hugo Lahme and the grotto was redesigned by KaGo & Hammerschmidt. KaGo was also responsible for the new planting in the area between the saunas and the associated restaurant. Furthermore, all thermal pools were given new tiles, the showers in the thermal area and the panorama sauna were renovated and painters were at work throughout the spa. Overall, the renovation costs summed up in the low six-figure range. ■
