Tamina Therme to Reopen Soon!
(eap) The Swiss Tamina Therme in Bad Ragaz (canton of St. Gallen) has been closed since April 12, 2024 due to a major overhaul. In the coming weeks, the thermal spa, which is part of the Grand Resort Bad Ragaz, will reopen step by step in new splendour. First will be the sauna world, which will open its doors to wellness lovers on October 5. While the reopening of the indoor pool will follow on October 26, the outdoor area is expected to be available to bathers again from the end of November/beginning of December this year.
Visitors will then notice the renovation work carried out on all pools and floors, as well as various interior and exterior painting jobs. Furthermore, the technical systems in the bath have been renewed. The Swiss company Renggli Schwimmbadtechnik carries out work on the swimming pool technology and pool lighting, while the also Swiss firm of EBAG Edelstahltechnik is responsible for the swimming pools. A total of 4.6 million Swiss francs (nearly 4.9 million euros) are being invested in the overhaul.
During the ongoing modernization work, guests have limited access to the Therme Café, the Therme-Boutique and the therme’s range of spa treatments. ■
