Aqualand in Cologne Features New Slide Jungle
(eap) Visitors to the Aqualand leisure pool in Cologne have recently been able to explore the all-new “Slide Jungle”. The children’s area, equipped by the Jettingen-based company Aquarena, opened last week just in time for the start of the summer vacations in North Rhine-Westphalia and offers pure slide fun for swimmers aged four and up. In addition to the wide “Tiger Splash” slide with a total length of 17.4 meters and the curvy “Green Viper” with a length of 24.2 meters, the new area also includes a climbing tunnel and a nearly three-meter-high bridge, at the end of which a water cannon provides plenty of action. Every minute, a water tipping bucket in the shape of a coconut pours over the heads of the bathing guests above the bridge of the Tiger Splash launch – a splashing delight. The jungle feeling is rounded off by a special animal soundscape. ■
