Bathing Facility for Wroclaw

In Wroclaw (Breslau), a new aqua park is being created under the direction of the Stuttgart-based InterSPA GmbH. The facility in Poland is scheduled to open in the spring of 2007. Treatment, health, sports and adventure areas, gastronomy and a spacious free-space area will meet the demands of a wide variety of people from the population. In Germany, there are already pool facilities with a similar concept in Wismar (Mecklenburg-Vorpommern), Bad Liebenwerda (Brandenburg), Sonthofen and Ingolstadt (both in Bavaria), all of which have been well received by locals and tourists alike. Around 25 million euros will be invested in the former sauna and health resort in Poland. The facility will have a total water surface of roughly 2,000 square metres. (eap)
