Belgium: BoldMove Launches New “Smash & Reload“ Dark Ride Concept

As part of its “Rogue Rides“ range, the newly established BoldMove concept planning & attraction development company (cf. EAP news of 16 Apr 2020) recently introduced its first dark ride concept “Smash & Reload“. As a fully weatherproof system, it can be operated as a stand-alone attraction all year round, but is also suitable for leisure venues such as family parks, entertainment and retail centres. The trackless hexagon-shaped ride system, which requires a groundspace of 225 square meters, offers a throughput of 360 persons per hour.

“Smash & Reload“ is equipped with five waggons for six guests each. During the four minute experience, the players pass through four interactive scenes with media screens. Targets appear on the screen which players need to shoot at in order to collect points. There are three stations in the attraction where the “weapons“ can be reloaded in between the scenes. The attraction’s media content can be changed, rebranded or updated at any time. Furthermore, the new dark ride can be installed as a complete solution or can be entirely adjusted to the customer‘s needs.
