Belgium: Plopsa Opens New “Plopsa Village de Panne” Accommodation Site
In the immediate vicinity of Plopsaland de Panne and Plopsaqua de Panne, the new “Plopsa Village” campsite opened yesterday. The former Camping Ter Hoeve campsite was extensively renovated in order to offer visitors to the popular Belgian leisure destinations a modern camping experience. Plopsa Village de Panne offers space for hundreds of mobile homes, caravans or tents in the middle of nature in the immediate vicinity of the Westhoek Nature Reserve.
Renovations made on the site include the construction of a new Welcome & Check-in building with a cosy indoor area and a large outdoor terrace. Merchandising articles as well as snacks and drinks will be on offer there. In addition, there is a large playground for smaller children, a beach volleyball court and a pétanque court. The infrastructure of the campsite was also upgraded with new pavement, new water and electricity lines as well as WIFI throughout the site. In addition, the sanitary facilities and the laundry room were also renovated. In the future, additional small holiday homes will be built.
Plopsaland and Plopsaqua de Panne still have to remain closed until further notice on behalf of the Belgian government. However, in Plopsaqua it is possible to use the municipal 25-meter pool for sports. (eap)
