Belgium’s Pairi Daiza Zoo to Build a Waterpark
Overnight accommodations in the “the largest tropical house in the world” (scheduled to open in 2025).
Already in 2022, the Belgian theme zoo Pairi Daiza had announced a more than 100-million-euro project under the name “Sanctuary”, within the scope of which “the largest tropical house in the world” is to be built along with special overnight accommodations and an underwater restaurant. In the meantime, the opening of the new indoor area is scheduled for 2025, in addition, zoo founder and president Eric Domb has already confirmed the construction of a water park. This is scheduled to go into operation a little later, in 2026. A new Japan-themed area is scheduled for completion next year. ■
