(eap) The city of Bellevue in the US state of Nebraska recently celebrated the ground-breaking for a major indoor water park project. The Bellevue Bay Indoor Water Park will be a year-round leisure attraction. Covering nearly 60,000 square-feet (more than 5,500-square-meters), the water park will offer a mix of thrill attractions and quiet areas so that the whole family can get their money’s worth. These include various water slides from WhiteWater with a total length of 3,386-feet (more than 1,000 meters), a 385-foot (over 115 meters) lazy river, a rock-climbing structure, a Flowrider surf machine, a play structure for children as well as a wave pool. Private cabanas, spaces for birthdays and group events as well as various gastronomic options will round off the experience. In addition, a retractable roof structure from OpenAire will provide open-air water fun when weather permits.
