(eap) The Allgäu Skyline Park in central Swabia (Germany), operated by the Löwenthal family, has opened its latest roller coaster: the “Berg und Tal Hetz” (Engl.: “Mountain & Valley Rush”). This is a Family Launch Coaster from SBF Visa, the highest point of which reaches around 15 meters. It has a track length of approx. 260 meters. With a maximum speed of up to 50 km/h, guests ride through two over-inclined panoramic curves, a small drop and over two camelback track elements, which are designed to provide airtime sensations. The Bavarian-style roller coaster train, designed as a horn sleigh, comprises seven cars, each with seating for two people, so that a total of 14 guests can board the “sleigh” per ride. The coaster is open to children from the age of six and a height of 120 cm accompanied by an adult and from 130 cm alone. Around 1.75 million euros were invested in the new attraction.

Tonight, Berg und Tal Hetz is celebrating a particularly festive opening as part of the “Skyline Park at Night” event. On this evening, visitors can use the attraction – as well as the other rides in the park – until midnight. In addition, other special features such as live acts, food stands and fireworks await park guests. ■
