Canada: Virginie Guilbeault Announced as Vortex' New VP Business Development, Europe/Middle East
As the Canada-based water play equipment manufacturer Vortex Aquatic Structures International announced this week, Virginie Guilbeault has been promoted to the company’s new Vice President, Business Development, Europe/Middle East. Over the past decade, Guilbeault has served Vortex in several business development and marketing functions, playing key roles in developing the company’s international business over the past several years.
In her new position, Guilbeault will coordinate with Kevin Spence, VP Business Development, North America, to maintain a strong global customer focus. Guilbeault reports to Stephen Hamelin, President of Vortex International.
“Virginie has been a part of the Vortex team for the last decade, during which time she has held roles of increasing responsibility in both marketing and sales. In the past three years, she has been instrumental in establishing Vortex as a contender in these regions. In Europe, we have a strong presence with established offices in Paris and Lyon in France; Valencia, Spain; and Copenhagen, Denmark. We have established channel partners in much of the rest of Europe and the Middle East, too, and Virginie will help us grow our on-the-ground capabilities and resources to better meet clients' needs,” Hamelin says.
