(eap) On October 10, 2024, an important milestone was reached in the construction of Center Parcs Nordborg Resort in Denmark. Bent Jensen from Linak Holding was impressed by the progress made since the ground-breaking ceremony in May 2022, with 440 vacation homes almost completed. Stephan Kleinschmidt, deputy mayor of the municipality, emphasizes: “Nordborg Resort will boost tourism and attract guests to Nordals and the entire region. We have a lot to offer: from a fantastic harbor promenade to top-class attractions. We are creating a resort where both locals and guests can enjoy nature and the Sønderborg region. We want to create a resort that blends harmoniously into the surrounding nature.”

Per Have, Chairman of the Board of the Bitten & Mads Clausen Foundation, is convinced: “Nordals and our region will benefit from this project for many years to come. Nordborg Resort is not just a building, but a place where people create memories, relax, enjoy life and create an atmosphere where high comfort is combined with the beauty of nature.”

The resort, surrounded by forests, coastlines and historic landmarks, will be ready for guests from summer 2025. As is typical for Center Parcs destinations, the expected 160,000 visitors per year will be able to enjoy the Market Dome, a children’s farm and the Aqua Mundo water world (including attractions from Aquarena and wiegand.waterrides). ■
