China: Condor 2G Attraction at Sun Tzu Cultural Park Now Open
After the recent announcement of China’s Sun Tzu Cultural Park, which is located in the Shandong province in the north of the country, to build two new thrill rides from US manufacturer S&S Worldwide for thrill-seekers (cf. EAP news from January 25th, 2018), the park has now also inaugurated a new attraction for families: a Condor 2G ride from German manufacturer Huss Rides. The attraction is a 31 meter high tower featuring a lift assembly with four cantilever arms, each carrying a “satellite” gondola ensemble in the form of star-shaped steel frames. At the circumference of each gyro frame are seven double-seat, counter rotating gondolas which are suspended on a horizontal axis and are capable of a free swinging motion. Once the passengers have taken their seats, they are carried up to a height of 24 meters.
“We are delighted to have installed the Condor 2G at Sun Tzu Cultural Park. As part of our classic rides range it is a ride that has proved very successful over the years for parks around the world and a popular attraction with the whole family […],” commented Huss CEO, Mirko J. Schulze. (eap)
