Compagnie des Alpes Sells Dolfinarium Harderwijk and Walibi Sud-Ouest

The French ski area and leisure park operator group Compagnie des Alpes (CdA) completed the sale of the Dolfinarium Harderwijk (Netherlands) to Continental Leisure Projects SARL, an affiliate of Aspro Group, at the beginning of January. Furthermore, Continental Leisure Projects will also purchase the Walibi Sud-Ouest theme park, located between Bordeaux and Toulouse (France). The transaction represents a total value of 37.5 million Euro. Walibi Sud-Ouest will maintain its brand identity for at least three years. The transactions are part of CdA’s strategy of refocusing its theme park portfolio, which was confirmed last December. (eap)
