Denmark: Lalandia Resort Draws Visitors with New Water Slide & High Ropes Course
Danish Lalandia Resort which is located in Billund near Legoland Park has expanded its visitor offer by the addition of two new attractions this year: a Klarer Turbo Racer water slide and a KristallTurm® high ropes course. The twelve meter long body slide was installed in the resort’s indoor adventure pool. Sliders start from a height of twelve meters and reach a speed of approx. 40 km/h thanks to a first drop inclined by 88 degrees. “The water slide features an impressive gradient that creates a fantastic feeling of free falling, after which sliders continue at full speed. I’m very confident that the Turbo Racer will be a hit with our many race-slide enthusiasts,” comments Lalandia’s Managing Director Jan Harrit.
On the outdoor grounds of the resort, a new seven-mast high ropes course from Bavarian KristallTurm company has recently been set up. In addition to a range of climbing obstacles on several levels, the structure also features a specially designed children’s course, an abseiling station and an event platform. (eap)
