Efteling Announces New Family Attraction for 2026

(eap) The Dutch theme park Efteling today announced a new attraction for the 2026 season. Those who find the “Baron 1898” Dive Coaster (B&M) too exciting or who have not yet reached the minimum body height of 1.32 meters to take a ride will be able to experience a free fall right next to the roller coaster from summer 2026. The new family-friendly freefall attraction from Zierer will have a similar theming as Baron 1898. Work is due to start this fall.

“This new family attraction fits seamlessly into the Baron 1898 area. It has deliberately been kept smaller, which expands the capacity and range of attractions for a broader target group. In line with our vision for the area, the atmosphere and theme are similar to that of Baron 1898, to fully immerse our guests in the story of the Baron and the White Wolves,” explains Koen Sanders, Director Product, Market & Image at Efteling. ■
