England’s First BattleKart Facility Opens in Sittingbourne

(eap) The Belgian company BattleKart, founded in 2015, continues to expand: England’s first BattleKart facility recently opened in Sittingbourne in the north of the county of Kent. There, players can duel in six different mini-games in e-karts from RiMO on an area of over 1,800 square meters. As known from other BattleKart locations, the classic “BattleRace” as well as the game modes “BattleColor”, “BattleSnake”, “BattleVirus”, “BattleFoot” and “BattlePool” are available, all of which work with floor projections. Some of these mini-games also require teamwork. Up to twelve people can play at the same time in one round, making the experience, which combines gaming and karting, ideal for company and private events. There is no age limit, but players need to be at least 145 cm tall to drive the karts.

In total there are now over 30 BattleKart franchise locations in Europe, Saudi Arabia, the United Arab Emirates and, as of late, also in Australia. ■
