(eap) On the occasion of Europa-Park’s 50th birthday, the beloved mascots “Ed & Edda” from the popular amusement park in Rust will conquer on the big movie theatre screens. In corporation with Warner Bros. Film Productions Germany and writers Kirstie Falkous, John Reynolds and Jeff Hylton, MACK Magic is producing the animated film “Grand Prix of Europe”, which will be released in cinemas worlwide in summer 2025. The film is being produced by Michael Mack, Managing Partner of Europa-Park and founder of the entertainment company MACK Magic, and is currently being created at the MACK Animation studios in Hanover under the direction of Waldemar Fast, who has been working as a director and animator in the animation industry for more than 20 years.

In the movie, Edda the mouse, daughter of fairground operator Erwin, wants to become a racing driver. When the 50th European Grand Prix race is nearing, she seizes the unique opportunity to meet her idol, racing driver Ed, and at the same time save her father’s ailing business; but to do so, she has to get into the cockpit herself ... ■
