Germany: “Fright Nights” Draw Numerous Visitors to Plopsa Holiday Park
Plopsa’s Holiday Park in the German town of Hassloch was delighted to announce a new visitor record as per its last day of the season on October 31st. Following an attendance plus of around 30 percent during the first three “Fright Night” Halloween events, the park welcomed 21,300 guests in the actual Halloween night, offering a versatile creeps program with four scare zones, a live band, a Halloween parade and a spectacular fireworks show.
Bernd Beitz, Administrative Director at Holiday Park, is happy about the results: “Since the end of 2010, Plopsa has invested more than 50 million Euro into Holiday Park to further expand the park’s offer for families and adults. We are very happy to see the results reflected in our visitor numbers. Next summer, we will open Holiday Indoor [cf. EAP news from July 25th, 2017], a completely new indoor area with a family rollercoaster and several other attractions, to make the park even more independent from weather conditions,” said Beitz.
