Germany: Autostadt Wolfsburg Celebrates 20th Anniversary
The Wolfsburg-based Autostadt, which was opened in 2000 as a communication platform for the Volkswagen Group and its related brands under the motto of “Humans, Cars and What Moves Them“, today celebrates its 20th anniversary. On its “birthday“, the popular 28 hectares-large leisure destination dedicated to cars invites visitors to explore the ZeitHaus automobile museum, the ID.Studio and the brand pavilions free of charge.
“[...] With our passionate team we have set standards in the past years. On June 1st we are celebrating a little smaller than planned, but we are still inviting all fans, families and their kids to visit us in the Autostadt free of charge. This is our way of saying 'thank you' for 20 extremely successful years,“ comments Roland Clement, Chairman of the Board of directors. During the anniversary summer, the Autostadt will also open further new attractions such as a new climbing installation, a giant air trampoline and a micro-mobility course. (eap)
