Germany: Exclusive Wellness Facility vabali spa Opens Near Hamburg
After about two years of construction work, last Sunday saw the opening of the new vabali spa wellness facility near Hamburg. Located in the town of Glinde (Schleswig-Holstein), the wellness oasis, which also includes an affiliated hotel, aims to bring a bit of Bali flair to northern Germany with its exclusive offerings. Surrounded by old trees, the 36,000 square meter wellness landscape was arranged and designed in the style of a Balinese village, covering a two-floor spa facility with 13 saunas, two steam baths and a Laconium as well as in the outdoor area a nature swimming pond with embedded relaxation basins, several sun terraces, different pools and day beds as well as a sauna by the pond. The wellness facility, operated by the Theune Group from Cologne, was designed along the lines of the existing vabali spa houses in Berlin and Düsseldorf (feasibility study by: profund consult) and for the first time also offers a hotel for overnight stays. A stay in the four-star hotel rounds off the “journey to the Far East”.
The managing directors Sonja Braun and Cornelius Riehm are pleased that things are now getting underway: “The great response in advances makes us proud and we look forward to our future guests, to whom we guarantee an incomparable relaxation experience.” (eap)
