Germany: FSB/aquanale 2015 Records Growth in Attendance Figures
This year’s trade fair duo FSB (International Trade Fair for Amenity Areas, Sports and Pool Facilities) and aquanale (International Trade Fair for Sauna, Pool and Ambience), which was held in Cologne last week (cf. EAP News from October 27, 2015), closed with an increase of seven percent in attendance figures compared to FSB/aquanale 2013. A total of around 26,600 visitors from 117 different countries came to Koelnmesse’s modern North Halls to learn about the 624 exhibiting companies’ product and service novelties in the sector of amenity areas, sports and pool facilities. 58 percent of the guests came from abroad which means a growth of two percentage points in comparison with 2013. Visitors and exhibitors alike appreciated the synergy effects in the pool area of the show that could be reached by the FSB/aquanale combination. “Once again this year FSB has proved its significance as the leading international trade fair in the amenity area, sports, playing and pool industry. Not just the quantitative figures, especially with regard to the enhanced internationality, but also the high-quality level of exhibitors and visitors prove this,” Koelnmesse’s CEO Katharina C. Hamma says. The EAP issue 1/2016 will feature a detailed report about FSB/aquanale 2015. (eap)
