Germany: Freizeitpark Plohn Starts into Anniversary Season
Today, Germany's Freizeitpark Plohn, located in the federal state of Saxony, starts into its 20th season. Following the opening of its new major attraction “Miniwah” last year (cf. EAP, issue 4/2015), the amusement park focuses on special events in its anniversary year. Right at the start of the season, the family park invites children and adults to a spring festival. Apart from the park’s more than 80 attractions, visitors can look forward to an Easter decoration, many surprises as well as a painting and crafting station between March 26 to 28. Further event highlights this year will include the “Mystical Midsummer Nights”, a back-to-school party on August 6 and the Halloween parties on October 22 and 29.
In its anniversary year, Freizeitpark Plohn, which welcomed more than 250,000 visitors last year, wants to thank its guests for their loyalty. Therefore, it offers an anniversary ticket granting a discount of 20 percent on the entrance fee this season. (eap)
