Germany: Havel-Therme and Therme-Lindau Scheduled to Open This Spring
Thermal bathing facility operator Schauer & Co., based in Überlingen at Lake Constance in Germany, is looking forward to the completion of two new facilities and plans to open both the Havel-Therme in Werder (near Berlin) and the Therme-Lindau (at Lake Constance) in the first half of 2021. The Havel-Therme will welcome visitors for water fun and wellness to a Mediterranean and oriental ambience. Guests will be able to enjoy four different pools – an indoor and an outdoor saline pool, a vitality pool and a hot water pool, which will be equipped with numerous massage jets and neck showers –, twelve different saunas and other spa and wellness treatments. The sports and family pool, which will be directly connected to the thermal bathing facility, will offer a 25-meter-long sports pool with diving platforms, a whitewater river, a tumble wave slide, an action slide and also an area for smaller children.
As of May 2021, guests will also be able to enjoy a day of relaxation at the Therme-Lindau. Its highlights will include a panoramic sauna located in the spa area, in which visitors will be able to enjoy a panoramic view over Lake Constance while sweating.
