Germany: Phantasialand Lifts Secret on New Attraction

Following the opening of its “Klugheim” theme area with the two coasters “Raik” and “Taron” in 2016 (c.f. EAP, 5/16), visitors to Germany’s Phantasialand were already speculating about the park‘s newest construction site. Rumors that the new attraction would be a Flying Theater – as was recently opened at Europa-Park (read more on this ride in our upcoming EAP issue) – have not been confirmed.

Phantasialand’s all-new “Rookburgh” theme area will be home to „F.L.Y.“, the world’s first Flying Launch Coaster, which will be the longest Flying Coaster at the same time, according to the park. Which storyline and special features will be offered with the new ride will be revealed soon for sure. (eap)
