IAAPA Elects New Board Members

The International Association of Amusement Parks and Attractions (IAAPA) recently announced that five new members will join the association’s board of directors beginning in 2022. Wuthichai Luangamornlert (pictured here) has been elected as second vice chair for the coming year and will serve as chair of the board in 2024. As Managing Director of Siam Park Bangkok, Luangamornlert brings over 25 years of experience in the leisure industry to his position. With degrees in Marketing, Finance, Business and Economics, he has served on various IAAPA committees over the years, including supporting the relocation of IAAPA headquarters to Orlando, Florida.

Moreover, four additional members were appointed to the 2022 Board. Corrine Brindley (SeaWorld Parks & Entertainment) and Bonnie Weber (Six Flags Entertainment Corporation) were appointed as Facility Member Directors. Har Kupers (Vekoma Rides Manufacturing) will be the new Director on the Manufacturer and Supplier Board. And John McReynolds (Universal Parks and Resorts) has been appointed as new Advisory Board Director. (eap)
