Internorga Kicks off in Hamburg: F&B Jobs in Theme Parks & Latest Gastronomy Trends
Internorga, the leading international trade fair for the out-of-home market, starts today in the halls of Hamburg Messe & Congress: during five days (through March, 14th), professionals in F&B such as operators of amusement parks and leisure facilities with gastronomic points of sale can discover the latest F&B trends and find inspiration for their own offerings. The focus will not only be on delicious snacks and drinks, but also on topics relating to operations such as digitalisation, ghost kitchens, artificial intelligence and robotics. A new feature of this year’s Internorga edition is, for example, the “AI Centre” (in Hall A3, Stand 629), which offers start-ups a platform for presenting their artificial intelligence-based solutions for gastronomy, the hotel industry and other related sectors. The “What the Food!” stage will be all about New Work, Sustainability, International & Future Foods. In the “Newcomers Area”, 15 young companies will present themselves in order to market products such as vegan eggs or plant-based shrimps.
For the first time this year, the “Jobs at Theme Parks” format (initiated by the participants of the German Erfa FreizeitParks association) will take place: On Saturday, 11 March, interested parties can learn about various career opportunities with a focus on F&B in amusement parks at the fair ground’s “Meeting-Point Café Future”. Europa-Park, LEGOLAND Deutschland, Movie Park Germany and Phantasialand, among others, want to present themselves as attractive employers in order to win new talent for their teams – contact persons from the respective companies will be available on site for personal conversations.
